On my worm project we learned how to make a worm move by setting key frames in After Effects and timing them just right so the worm didn't slide. I learned how to make the key frames from Mr. Netterville teaching us and I got some help from my peers. I picked this project because it was one of the first ones we made and it was easier than the rest. The greatest strength for this project was that the worm did no slide that much when set the key frames up just right. And my weakness was the badly colored worm. I am going to use the key frames skills I have learned for this project and put it to use in another animation.



My next project is a castle that we made in Maya. I learned how to make walls and towers with the different tools in Maya such as the Difference tool and the Bevel tool. I picked this project because it was the first one in Maya we did and it would later build up the skills needed to make more complex scenes. My greatest weakness would be only using one texture and one ground and not going above and beyond.




This is my ice cream project and we needed to take everything we learned so far and put it to the test and make this. I picked this project because it was the whole "scoop" (pun intended) of what we learned so far in Maya. I would change my texture so they would not move on the animation part of this project.
These cups are a product of what Mr. Netterville taught us. He showed us the tool called Revolve. We first needed to make the outline of the cup then we use the revolve tool and it revolved the whole thing around the Y-Axis. Then we needed to transfer the cp into a object and hat is why there are two cups. My greatest strength are not the cups but the lighting. I have 3 point lighting in this screen shot and that lighting is perfect.



This was my final in Maya and we needed to recreate a pen of ours in it. I learned that making things in Maya is hard and VERY time consuming. I picked this project because it looked nice at the end and I was proud of what I completed. My greatest strength was I made the whole thing out of one cylinder but my greatest weakness is I didn't have time to completely finish the whole thing.

During this final year of e-Communication I was able to grow as a person, friends, and member of society. The works that I have completed have allowed me to met new people in my community and created deeper friendships. There was a sense of family when I was in ninth grade, this is still true 3 years later. I learned to complete projects on time and how to create videos efficiently in order to turn the projects in. Also I learned to work with people that did not really want to be in the program. The difficulty these kinds of people can bring are astronomical. They do not do the work and have no motivation to do anything. I was pulling all the slack and creating a video I was happy with and one that impressed people. This is the over the shoulder shot from our video. ONW Planner Procedure The scope of the project was to capture the various procedures in the planner and my partner and I chose to do the video about how to use the planner properly. Our process was to get notes from the client and see what the client wanted to be in their video. Then from those notes we came up with ideas and wrote them down. After we wrote down our ideas we grabbed a storyboard and came up with a few ideas for shots then fine tuned them. This was a medium shot to capture the teacher signing the planner.  For the shooting we followed the storyboard almost exactly and we remembered the 6-shot system and the 180* rule. The six shot system consists of six shots (duh) and they are Extreme-wide, Wide, Medium, Over the shoulder, Close-up, and Extreme close-up. Insomnia PSA

.Insomnia. This project was a fun one to make. Though it was made in just a few hours, Jordan and I created a pretty good looking project. I feel like I slaked off in this project given the amount of time we were given. I kept putting this project off due to work, school and the feature film I am currently working on, but this does not excuse the utter slack of work I put into this. We filmed and directed this in 25 minutes and I edited all footage and sound in around 45 minutes to an hour. This concept was a different one that was chosen at first. We decided that this concept would be easier to produce. While this was short, this is the most editing I have done for a film, ever. It was very complicated with the light-leaks and the transitions that I used. The audio was the hardest thing that I had to edit.
