MultiPlane Animation

Multiplane Animation In this animation we learned how to create a multilayered moving picture. We first watched how Disney made its first animation this way and we had to recreate something like it. I chose to do a moonlight setting with a starry background and buildings with weird windows. I wanted to go above and beyond of what I was told to do so I did some shading and made some "people" watching the starry night. To make it look more realistic we needed to make the background move slower than the top layer. Overall I am pretty pleased with what I have made. This has been my best animation so far.

Our process was to get notes from the client and see what the client wanted to be in their video. Then from those notes we came up with ideas and wrote them down. After we wrote down our ideas we grabbed a storyboard and came up with a few ideas for shots then fine tuned them.
